Inside Job
If you care about who was really responsible for the financial crash of 2008, or how wealth exercises power in America today, go see the new documentary Inside Job by Charles Ferguson. And bring friends who haven’t yet realized how much they care. Because this tale of grand larceny, hijacking of government, and avoidance of public accountability—told through interviews of key players in and observers of the drama—makes it hard not to care. A story of huge private gains & huge public losses. If you believe that a catastrophic failure in the system should at least become a “teachable moment,” go see this movie. Truly one of those movies where, the more people see it, the better. Currently playing in Seattle-area theaters (& elsewhere around Wallstreetistan).
